Prof. Gunwoo Kim received his BLA (2008) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, MLA (2011) degree from Seoul National University, and Ph.D. (2015) degree in Architecture and Design Research from Virginia Tech. He worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at Arizona State University (2015-2017) and an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture (Tenure-Track) at North Carolina A&T State University (2017-2018). Now, he is an Assistant Professor and Chair of Landscape Architecture at Hanyang University. His research and teaching has focused on Ecosystem Services and Green Infrastructure in supporting urban sustainability to improve environmental quality and human health. His research interests are in the areas of Urban Ecosystems, Urban Forestry, Green Infrastructure, Climate Change, Ecosystem Services, Urban Resilience, Landscape Urbanism, Urban Social-Ecological Systems, Ecosystem Service Assessment, Landscape Ecology, Ecological and Sustainable Design / Planning, Urban Regeneration and Renewal, Nature and Human Health and Well-Being.
